In today’s vlog, I’m giving you a glimpse into my morning routine with baby Ayaan. Let me tell you, some days are more challenging than others, and today Ayaan was extra fussy, which meant I couldn’t get as much done around the house as I planned. The day started as it always does—I woke up, made the bed, and got our room tidied up. While doing so, I shared my thoughts on baby monitors and why I personally prefer to be Ayaan’s eyes rather than rely on technology. Let me know your thoughts on this in the comments! Next, I took Ayaan into the living room for his morning bath. Giving him a bath in the tub is such a precious bonding moment, and he absolutely loves it. After bath time, I breastfed him and tried to get him down for a nap, but he had other plans! While I hoped he’d drift off to sleep, Bilal stepped in and did some tummy time with him. Watching them together always melts my heart. Since Ayaan didn’t nap, I adjusted my plans. I strapped him onto me using my baby carrier (which has been a lifesaver!) and tackled my household chores with him close to me. It wasn’t the smoothest morning, but we made it work because that’s what motherhood is all about—being adaptable and finding joy in the little moments.
