Well, if you know the Chinese Calendar, you will notice that today is the Chinese(south part of China, along the Yangtze River) Minor New Year, and next sunday is the tradition Chinese New Year. (As for a Chinese, I just want to say, whether you call that day the Lunar New Year or Chinese New Year, remember, that's Chinese original event. because in China, this traditional calendar is around the grain planting.)
