I decided to ask myself a question: Has Uruguay really changed that much in 2026, or are we the ones who have changed? The country still has many of the same customs, places, and ways of life that we remember, but we are no longer the same. We grew up, some of us started families, had children, left certain stages of life behind, and began to feel nostalgic for things that once seemed normal. In this video, we explore Montevideo, look at some facts about what Uruguay is like today, and reflect on the passage of time, memories, and the different stages of life.
