TURUL MIROSLAVA

In this episode we tour the Miroslava mountain (Bîrgăului Mountains), on the route Valea Arendaşului-Poiana Narota/Horota-Poiana Vulturilor-Contour forest road-Poiana Ulmilor-Poiana Butucanului-Poiana Stâneica-Poiana Făgețel-Valea Ciolocoi-Culmea Arendaş-Valea Arendaş. Basically, we cross an alignment of meadows located around the Miroslava/Oala peak (1605 m), keeping our route around the altitude of 1100-1200 m. The day was great, with good weather, the terrain welcoming, but we also had some problematic sectors, where we had to take the forest by the chest, due to the lack of hunting or animal trails.
