Pregação Seleta | A Santíssima Trindade e a nossa salvação

Anyone who, looking from the outside, encounters the mystery of the Holy Trinity, mistakenly concludes that we profess faith in a kind of mathematical contradiction, pure and simple: "One God in Three Persons" and "Three Persons in One God." Those who think this way, besides underestimating two thousand years of sages and saints who embraced Christianity, also reveal themselves to be completely ignorant of the Christian faith as a whole, failing to realize that the mystery of the Trinity has direct implications for our spiritual life, being crucial, for example, in understanding how our salvation occurs. This homily was delivered on June 4, 2023, the Solemnity of the Holy Trinity, during morning Mass at Cristo Rei Parish in Várzea Grande, Mato Grosso do Sul.
