Synopsis: Tenacious and determined, even going against the grain in her dress, Tataranni finds herself investigating the root causes of hatred, the obstacles to integration, and various social conflicts, all while trying to uncover the truth and the perpetrators, overcoming, above all else, prejudices and hasty popular judgments. On her journey toward justice, she is supported by the now familiar members of her team, starting with Chief Prosecutor Alessandro Vitali, who is increasingly intolerant of the methods of the most undisciplined prosecutor in the Prosecutor's Office; and Diana De Santis, her clerk and former classmate, who has steadfastly supported her in her investigative work since Marshal Calogiuri was injured in the attack that killed mafia boss Saverio Romaniello. The second season ended on this very note, leaving viewers breathless. A few months have passed, and we find Tataranni back in the usual routine of family and work, albeit with some important changes. Valentina has graduated high school and decided to study at the Orientale University in Naples. Imma and Pietro find themselves in an empty house. They don't give in to melancholy; on the contrary, they try to return to being the couple they once were. At least until Calogiuri awakens from his coma. A moment Pietro fears, but Imma hopes for. The situation becomes further complicated when it is discovered that the marshal has regained consciousness, but the trauma has left him with amnesia. He remembers almost nothing; he will recover, the doctor says, but it will take time, and the memory that initially seems unwilling to return is the awareness of having been in love with Imma. Imma is struck by this unknown and by Calogiuri's coldness toward her, but she is especially concerned by the carabiniere's determination to discover what's behind the attack and who ordered it. Pietro, on the other hand, appears confused and, to react, enrolls in a boxing class. There, he meets Sara, a captivating and brilliant paleontologist. This season chronicles Calogiuri's gradual rekindling of his love for Imma, but also his evolution. No longer a boy, but a man who knows what he wants and has every intention of getting it. Conversely, Pietro ventures down the opposite path. Everything will come to a head in the finale, and Imma will find herself unexpectedly asking for help from someone who has always been there for her. The first night features a special appearance by Gianni Morandi, playing himself.
