How to Make Keşkül? | Perfect Keşkül Recipe - Arda's Kitchen Hello, I'm Arda Türkmen, and welcome to my Arda's Kitchen YouTube Channel, full of easy recipes! Today, we'll be making a delicious keşkül that almost everyone in Türkiye loves to eat. Below, you'll find the ingredients you need to make this recipe at home, and you can also watch the recipe in my video! Enjoy! Ingredients: 1 liter milk 1 cup granulated sugar 1 egg yolk 1 cup ground almonds 1 package vanilla 2 tablespoons cornstarch 3 tablespoons water Ingredients for the Topping: 1 tablespoon flaked almonds Preparation: In a deep saucepan, before turning off the heat, add the milk, granulated sugar, ground almonds, egg yolk, and vanilla. Mix well. Once the egg yolk is thoroughly distributed throughout the mixture, transfer it to the stove. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, for about 10 minutes. Once the milk boils, mix the cornstarch with the water in a small bowl and stir until dissolved. Add it to the milk mixture and cook, stirring constantly, for another 10 minutes, until the mixture thickens. While the keskül is cooking, toast the almonds in a small pan until lightly browned. When the keskül reaches the consistency of thick boza, dip a wooden spoon into the mixture and draw a line down the center with your finger. If the line stays in place, the keskül is ready. Once the consistency is reached, pour the keskül into bowls, garnish with almonds, and let it cool. Serve after it has cooled.
