Yamaha SR125 no compression. Can we fix it? Part 1: Diagnosis

I bought a Yamaha sr125 that has been sitting for at least 1 year undercover outside in the British weather. After cleaning the carb and changing the battery she still won't start. Lets open her up. What will we find? Broken rings? dropped valve? holed piston? who knows... The principles of this video can be adhered to many other OHC motorcycle engines as the technology is not too dissimilar. Some models may have manual cam chain tensioners whilst later models will have fuel injection systems. For example the Yamaha ybr 125 is an evolution of this motor with fuel injection. If anything this adds a layer of simplicity, no fiddling with carbs! note that I did drain the engine oil prior to making this video. enjoy, thanks.
