Yancey County Burnsville flood 2024, Jay-Paul Thibault on The Cane River in Egypt on 19W, 28714

Most of this is from the fire station in Burnsville North Carolina on Friday, September 27 on US Highway 19W in Egypt, Burnsville. After two years of work, all my tools and supplies were in the house/basement. They are all gone. Update: I will be making more videos showing what happened and what we are doing to recover. I have met strong, independent people in these mountains, and many have lost everything. Their first question was, how can I help my neighbor and community?
