Control the Light and Improve Your Photography: Part 3 -- Studio Portrait Lighting

Learn more: https://bit.ly/2NeAq9r Photographing portraits in the studio provides you the ultimate in control with light. All decisions regarding mood, shape and drama are yours to make, and to do this effectively we're going to use a handheld light meter to give us the information we need. Studio lighting is one place where your in-camera meter simply can't do the job! We'll start with a simple one-light set and the addition of a reflector. You'll be amazed of the variety of looks you can create with just one light once you learn about light position and its relationship to both the subject and the background. Once we've explored the possibilities of one-light sets, we'll add some more lights to further shape both the subject and background to create more depth and shape to our portrait. If you're interested in studio portraiture as a way to express creativity and bring more value to your photographic talents, join us during this live and interactive presentation. We'll take questions live in the studio and all learn together -- it will be time well spent!
