Лекция "Древние народы Средней Сибири: образы и судьбы"

The lecture is devoted to the transcontinental connections of the ancient populations of Central Siberia, which are being reconstructed using paleoanthropological and paleogenetic data. What can ancient skeletal remains tell us about the past? What did the inhabitants of Central Siberia during the Stone and Bronze Ages look like? Which peoples succeeded them, and what methods were used to establish this? The key themes of the meeting include the Americas and Southeast Asia. Denis Pezhemsky is a Russian anthropologist and archaeologist, PhD in Biology, Senior Researcher at the Research Institute and Museum of Anthropology at Lomonosov Moscow State University, and a lecturer at the Russian Orthodox University of St. John the Theologian (Moscow). The project is supported by the Russian Ministry of Culture as part of the National Project "Culture." The gold mining company Polyus is a partner in the educational program.
