The Capanna Vittoria Refuge is located in the upper Valsassina at 1,550 meters, in a splendid position. From its large panoramic terrace, you can enjoy an extraordinary view of Lake Como and Lugano, as well as the Valsassina. You can also admire the surrounding mountains, including Grigna, Pizzo dei Tre Signori, Legnone, Monte Rosa, and the peak of the Matterhorn. The Shambalà Refuge is located on the slopes of Mount Muggio, in the upper Valsassina, in the municipality of Casargo. The refuges can be reached in about 1 hour and 40 minutes via trail number 6, which starts from Mornico, a hamlet of Vendrogno in the province of Lecco.
