Simple Minds: Pleasantly Disturbed [Sun Machine Mix, Unofficial]

The prog vibe is undeniable with this track from the group’s debut album, here in a slightly altered version. It includes a few snippets from the 1980 concert at the Paradiso, which finds Kerr riffing on Bowie’s 'Memory of a Free Festival' (“sun machine is coming down and we’re gonna have a party”). All sounds by Simple Minds. No added ingredients. (What may sound like an additional distorted guitar during the first part of the track is actually the original bass part played by DF - extracted using the Moises app - run through a fuzz box emulation.)
