An unimaginable, tragic past that actually happened. We must never turn a blind eye to this incident. I will never forget what I saw and felt on this day, as a human being and as a Japanese person. Coming here and witnessing it firsthand, I truly felt the preciousness of peace. Even knowing just a little bit of the horrors of war and the suffering of those involved, we need to think once again on this day that we must never let such a thing happen again. From there, let's appreciate the happiness and gratitude we have in our daily lives. And I decided to conduct this interview because I want to pass this on to future generations.
