This is the 3rd part in my Oregon Trail series covering the first half of Nebraska, which was also days 2-3 of the trip. There was a lot of history in this one, as we crossed over the Kansas/Nebraska border and headed northwest to Kearney. From there it's pretty much straight west along the Platte River until North Platte. I saw a lot of intersting historical areas in these two days! It feels like the trip is really rolling now!
