Lla Yamina. (Urar n Lxalat) REMASTERISÉ

Lla Yamina, de son vrai nom Arab Ferroudja, est la pionnière de la chanson féminine kabyle et en représente un symbole, ayant bravé tous les carcans des traditions en vigueur à son époque pour chanter. Elle compte dans son répertoire environ 200 chansons (dont beaucoup ont été reprises, tel que "Aya Saru"). Elle serait née présumée en 1906 dans la région d'Akbou et émigre très jeune à Alger. Elle va intégrer la radio en 1924 par l'intermédiaire de Mme Lafarge, dite Lla Tassadit. Avec Lla Ounissa et Lla Zina, elles animeront des émissions de chants kabyles (notamment icewiqen). Lla Yamina ramènera par la suite d'autres femmes qui deviendront célèbres comme Chérifa, Djida tamekrant, Djida tamectoh, Djamila, Hnifa, Ourida, Nouara, Anissa, Saliha, Fatma-Zohra, Khedidja, Bahia Farah, Chabha, Farida, Lila.... et elles animeront ensemble durant de nombreuses années l'émission "Urar n Lxalat" sur la radio chaîne 2. Elle décède en 2008 à l'âge de 102 ans et est inhumée à Alger (paix à son âme). Lla Yamina, whose real name is Arab Ferroudja, is the pioneer of Kabyle women's song and represents a symbol of it, having braved all the shackles of the traditions in force at her time to sing. She has around 200 songs in her repertoire (many of which have been covered, such as "Aya Saru"). She would have been born in 1906 in the region of Akbou and emigrated very young to Algiers. Lla Yamina will later bring back other women who will become famous like Chérifa, Djida tamekrant, Djida tamectoh, Djamila, Hnifa, Ourida, Nouara, Anissa, Saliha, Fatma-Zohra, Khedidja, Bahia Farah, Chabha, Farida, Lila.. .. and they will host together for many years the program "Urar n Lxalat" on the radio channel 2. She died in 2008 at the age of 102 and was buried in Algiers (peace to her soul).
