Journey onboard 720508 (coupled to 720552) as the 1F20 1136 from Liverpool Street to Colchester Town calling at Stratford, Shenfield, Chelmsford, Beaulieu Park, Witham, Kelvedon, Marks Tey, Colchester and Colchester Town. Oyster cards and contactless PAYG are only valid as far as Shenfield. Contactless PAYG (but not oyster) was meant to be extended to Witham on 14th December 2025, but due to technical issues, it wouldn't happen until 8th March 2026. My first Greater Anglia journey since they were renationalised on 12th October 2025. Also my first journey on the GEML since Beaulieu Park opened on 26th October 2025! Beaulieu Park is served by services between Liverpool Street and Ipswich, as well as those between Liverpool Street and Colchester Town. During peak hours, it is also served by services to/from Braintree, Clacton-on-Sea and Harwich International.
