While the global audience watches the horror on their tv sets or reads about it in their newspaper columns, for you, the experience is all too real. Your tiny village tucked away in the Vietnamese mountains has not been spared from the carnage. Throughout the day and throughout the night, helicopters fly overhead, while the sound of napalm being dropped in the distance is your wake-up call. Machine gunfire can be heard through the dense jungle and the screams of those maimed or injured.
