Can a cheapy Walmart TV be any good for gaming? TCL Q5 55Q51K QLED with Google TV "Review"-ish thing

Can we stretch our $268 by gaming directly on the built-in Android system?IMHO if I'm forced to have a "smart" system on my TV then I'm going to choose a Google TV, because it's basically Android.
