Scrabble's Most Perfect Game

Welcome to Episode 40 of Scrabble History, a series where I break down some of the most incredible plays, epic rivalries, and amazing moments in Scrabble's rich competitive history. How would you define a "perfect game" in Scrabble? You could say it's a game where the players make the computer engine approved play on each and every turn, but another way of looking at Scrabble perfection is much rarer: what about a game where every single turn is a bingo (a play using all 7 tiles to earn 50 extra points)? That's never happened in Scrabble history, but one game came by far closer than any other - Jerry Lerman's incredible game vs grandmaster Kenji Matsumoto in 2011.
