Barcelona's second day of preseason training took place at the English Football Association's facilities in St. George's Park, with Hansi Flick keeping a tight rein on the squad. The German manager allowed cameras into the first fifteen minutes of the morning session, which featured Benjamin Kugel, the new fitness coach for this season. Kugel takes over from Julio Tous, who is now involved with youth teams and other sports, marking his first experience in Spanish football after stints at Werder Bremen, Cologne, PSV Eindhoven, and Benfica, as well as nearly a decade on the staff of the German Football Association.
