Robin birds made a nest in my Boots 🥾

On June 15th 2020 a pair of Robin birds decided to make a nest in my garden. Robins have always been coming to our garden but never actually made a nest in it. This was partly because the trees in our garden are quite small and there isn’t much of a shelter to provide them. It all came as a surprise to our family to find out that they have acctually made nest in my Timberland boots that my mom has put away since I only wore them in winter. The parents and chicks went through some struggles but remarkably they became adaptive to each situation that nature threw towards them. As we were in the middle of the lockdown I have been thinking of how adaptive us humans can be to different situations but seeing the parenthood of these Birds made me realise that we only know how adaptive we can be once a challenge is thrown at us. The boots are still there and I am hoping they will return for their nest again next year.
