I went grocery shopping at a place locals call the “Harajuku for Grandmas”—a nostalgic market street filled with unique shops, affordable groceries, and everyday finds. It really feels like stepping into a different side of Tokyo. After that, we also went to check out a new apartment. Rent in Tokyo can be tough, so I wanted to share what it’s like to look for a clean and affordable place here. I’ll show you one of the apartments we visited, talk about the price, and share my honest thoughts.
