This is probably the greatest song I've ever been a part of writing. Both of us are crazy stoked on how the final product sounds and I'm still lowkey in disbelief it turned out the way it is now lol. This took countless hours of studying and listening to Loathe to finally get down (to at least what we think is) their sound. I've always been a huge fan of them since I was introduced to their Cold Sun album through my dad but learning to write like them made me realise they're an a lot more insane band than I ever thought they were. Almost no repeat riffs at all/riff variations every single bar, cool syncopations everywhere, Sean's unique style of drumming and fills (feel like I got pretty close with the drum programming) and sick soundscapes/EFX. We didn't get a screaming vox cos none of us can scream and I figured it'd be too much of a risk to let someone in and potentially ruin the song if they couldn't perform lolol.
