I photographed trains arriving and departing at Minami-Otari Station on the Ōito Line. On the Ōito Line, the section north of this station is non-electrified by JR West, and the section south is electrified by JR East. Naoetsu Station used to be the border station between JR East and JR West, but with the opening of the Hokuriku Shinkansen, it was privatized and became the Echigo Tokimeki Railway, so this station is now the only border station between JR East and JR West.
