Peninsula Trail Hike to Lake Monroe Indiana
This video documents my first overnight hike. It took place in May of 2013 in the Charles C. Deam Wilderness, part of the Hoosier National Forest. The Peninsula Trail is a 10 mile out and back trip that takes you to the shores of Lake Monroe. It took me about 2.5 hours each way and I had a very good time doing it. This was a good test of my hiking system and a shake down for all my gear. I will post a separate video describing what all I took with me. I learned a lot and met some very nice people along the way. Please enjoy and feel free to comment below. Make sure to like it and subscribe to my channel.
