Sony FX6 | Hot Swap Battery Solution | Tilta Advanced Cage | Tilta Mini PD V Mount | Alvins Cables

If youre using the @tiltamax FX6 cage that comes with the v mount plate, you know a problem is that you can’t hot swap batteries while shooting. It can be an issue if you have a long shoot day My solution was to replace it with the @tiltamax Mini PD V Mount plate with 15mm rod mount. That way you can still use a Sony Bp-u35 battery with a V mount. You still need a power connection from the V mount plate, so I used the @alvinscables D-Tap to DC Power cable. DC straight into the FX6 and D-Tap to the V mount plate. No more power issues. Thanks @alvinscables for sending it over.
