OPST Blue & Chartreuse King Salmon Semi-Intruder

This is one final large fly tied in in the form of an Intruder but that does not maintain my picky requirement of maintaining distinct butt and thorax segments when wet under tension in the current. The colors are well suited to Chinook fresh from the sea, and using the OPST shank, EP Brushes, and the techniques shown produce a very bold profile fly that my Alaska & BC expert fishing friends assure me will be a winner. For that matter, I have caught kings here in Oregon on flies very similar to this pattern in tidewater so let the fur fly at the bench and the flies zip through the air on the water!
