The Legend of Spyro: The Eternal Night - This Broken Soul (Piano Arrangement) by Rebecca Kneubuhl So I've been meaning to redo a few old Spyro arrangements of mine I first uploaded when I was in the middle of my GCSEs. Now having accumulated a lot more musical experience after six years, I feel I could do them much more justice! While I do have a much more nuanced version of this song in the works, I thought I might also make a quick re-edit of the version of this song I made in 2015. This comes mostly in response to SnickerToodles's request to use my old arrangement in a video project of theirs, as well as the fact that today is the anniversary of The Legend of Spyro series (aka 'Cynder Day')! Fixes from the old version mostly include a more accurate transcription of the melody line, fleshing out of the right hand, better voice leading in the left hand blah blah blah, and also the use of Spitfire Audio's 'Firewood Piano' VST for the audio which comes with an auto-generated pad synth in the background! I would like to thank Ebbe for their help in 'EQ-ing' the audio (because I'm useless at music tech) as well as NaMoogly for allowing me to use their artwork for this video.
