Aiko de Japón, la princesa que tendrá que dejar la Familia Imperial si se casa con un plebeyo

Although Aiko is the only daughter of Emperor Naruhito and Empress Masako of Japan, she is not the heir to the Chrysanthemum Throne, as the country still adheres to the Salic Law, which prevents women from reigning. At 24, the princess has completed her university studies and works for the country's Red Cross organization. She studied for a time at the exclusive Eton boarding school, as did Princes William and Harry, and studied Japanese Language and Literature in her home country. She has been friends with Princess Amalia of the Netherlands since childhood, has an increasingly prominent presence at official events, and if she were to marry a commoner, she would have to leave the Imperial Family and renounce her rights as a princess.
