3 familias de Jerez de los Caballeros y Valuengo han retomado este año el programa Vacaciones en Paz

Three families from Jerez de los Caballeros and Valuengo have resumed the "Holidays in Peace" program this year. Through the Association of Friends of the Sahrawi People, the program promotes hosting Sahrawi children so they can spend a different kind of summer with families in Extremadura. The three children, along with their host families, were welcomed today at the Town Hall by the mayor, Raúl Gordillo, and the first deputy mayor, Mario Méndez, who chatted with them and presented them with gifts. The initiative stems from the experience of one of the host mothers, Eva, who twenty years ago was also a host sister when the program received significant support and participation in the city.
