🚇 Driver training? Fully automated MTR South Island Line being operated manually 南港島綫手動駕駛

This video was filmed on 2022/08/19. The MTR South Island Line is a fully automated line where there are no drivers on board. I happened to witness a driver controlling the train. This video covers both directions of the line operated by a driver. You can see how the signalling system works on this train. The line wasn't suffering from any faults, so I guess this is part of the driver's training?
