Today we're taking a train consisting of tank cars to Großenhain. As soon as we've taken over the train and are ready to depart, we're off! We can already tell the train isn't exactly light from the sluggish acceleration of our locomotive. The Siemens Vectron is usually very quick off the mark. But then the distant signal appears, and our train can't really brake. However, we don't notice this at first because we're slowing the train almost exclusively with the electric brakes.
