TRACKSIDE | “Development“ | Season 3 Episode 2 | GT4 European Series - Monza

Monza delivered drama from lights out. The win was right there. Then it wasn't. Cameron McLeod set the tone early in Race 1, putting Car 62 firmly in contention and giving Academy Motorsport a real shot at an outright win. A 10 second penalty changed all that, dropping Marco Signoretti and McLeod back to seventh from their P8 start, a finish that undersold just how strong the pace had been all race. Race 2 was the answer. McLeod and Signoretti carved through the field from P13 to take the podium in P3, posting a best lap of 1:55.679 along the way. After the sting of Race 1, that result landed exactly as it should have. Car 61 had a harder weekend. Nathan Vanspringel and Erik Evans fought back from P31 to P12 in Race 1, a proper recovery drive through the pack, but Race 2 was tougher to crack and they crossed the line in the same P19 they started from. Their best lap of 1:56.300 showed the pace was there even when the result didn't reflect it. This episode covers both sides of a Monza weekend: the speed that nearly took the win, the penalty that cost it, the fight back to a podium, and the grind of a car that had the pace but not the points to show for it. –––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––– 📍 Location: Autodromo Nazionale di Monza, Italy 🏁 Championship: GT4 European Series 🚗 Car: Ford Mustang GT4 🎥 Team: Academy Motorsport 👥 Drivers: Erik Evans, Nathan Vanspringel, Marco Signoretti & Cameron McLeod 🏁 Round: Round 2 –––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––– 🔥 LIKE, COMMENT, and SUBSCRIBE to follow the full journey, every high, every setback, every lesson learned. #Monza #GT4EuropeanSeries #Trackside #AcademyMotorsport #FordMustangGT4 #FordRacing #MultimaticMotorsports #ErikEvans #NathanVanspringel #MarcoSignoretti #CameronMcLeod #MotorsportDocumentary #GT4Monza #Podium
