What follows is one of the most frustrating and revealing debates of the episode. Despite being asked repeatedly and directly, "What is the best thing MAGA is doing for women?", John can only offer one answer: keeping trans people out of women's sports and bathrooms. Jimmy and Promise systematically dismantle every part of this argument — pointing out that trans people represent less than 1% of the population, that trans athletes in women's sports represent a fraction of a fraction of that, and that per capita, cisgender men are far more responsible for assaults in bathrooms than trans women. Promise, speaking as a woman herself, calls out the fundamental dishonesty of using women as a "Trojan horse" for transphobia while offering zero policy that actually improves women's lives. Jimmy goes further, noting that trans men, who are bearded, muscular, and visibly male, are now being legally forced into women's restrooms in some states, and that butch lesbians are being falsely accosted by the very policies John supports. Every time the hosts score a point, John pivots from trans sports to trans bathrooms, then to whether trans women are biologically women, then to Islam, then to deflection. When asked to summarize the hosts' position in two sentences to prove he actually understands it, John can't do it. The call ends with Jimmy pointing out the hollow ring of "protecting women" from a movement that elected a convicted sexual abuser.
