Syncing Alesis DM5 to DAW Using Midi

I threw this video together for the purpose of showing how one can use the DM5 for mixing. The beginning of this video is the DM5 by itself, but I add instruments as the video goes along. I have a couple of these units and am selling one of them on ebay and reverb. The DM5 has separate pan and volume capability for each drum sound, which can be done while receiving signals. The "note chase" button is used for this purpose. Just run midi out of your music software into the DM5, and audio line out of the DM5 into your DAW audio interface. The notes in your project will trigger the DM5. You'll have to output from an external midi channel to trigger the DM5.
