I have it set to left alt plus the mouse wheel forward to increase it and the mouse wheel backward to decrease it. This is how it works: if someone is at 400 meters, you set the zeroing distance to 400, aim for the head, and the bullet flies where you aimed. The main thing is to remember to reset it to 100 meters, otherwise, if you have the target at 100 meters and you have 400, you'll shoot over their head.
