Eastern Dawn (1998) - Big Western business is flooding Eastern Europe. Activists and radicals are banding together to protest, a new phenomenon for this part of the world. Poland will join the EU, but must build a massive road network to catch up. Slovakia wants to join, but its nuclear plants will never meet the safety regulations. In these conservative countries, it's still deeply rooted that those who protest will be damned, especially in authoritarian countries like Belarus, where the President names Hitler as a personal hero. Under Communism direct action was unheard of, but now young people are realising that it is one of the most powerful tools of resistance.
