#Synthember2024 DAY 7, KORG Day: The Fantastic Four :))

#Synthember is a hashtag for an event month, that I created based on Cuckoo's #Jamuary. All videos in September will be tagged with this hashtag. Anyone who wants to jam can also use this hashtag. This is how we make the #Synthember better known. My motto for this year's #Synthember is: Make Music whenever you feel like it and you find the time. This year I have come up with a plan that won't overwhelm me but will provide you with plenty of jams. Monday is KORG day: Jams exclusively with KORG gear Wednesday is Arturia day: Jam exclusively with ARTURIA gear Friday is Mixed Up day: Everything else I have except KORG and Arturia gear The jams will usually be between 8 and 15 minutes long. There may be exceptions because I can't hold back. Forgive me. These rules are not set in stone but give me a guideline to follow. ##################################################################### So, now that I've had enough opportunities to warm up, today it's time to get down to business: Four Volcas It was actually pretty clear which Volcas I would use. I don't build a big Volca setup without bass and keys. For me and for this type of music, the Volca Sample is always the better choice than the Volca Drum. Well, and the Volca FM. To be honest, that's a must. Well, the direction was pretty clear. Today I was a bit lazy. That's why I recorded the rhythm and the bassline beforehand. Forgive me. I also tried out a few things with the keys and the FM beforehand. I didn't really like anything and, as so often, I said: OK, I'll just improvise. And that's why the jam ended up being a bit longer. Despite everything, this shows once again how versatile the Volcas are, especially in combination. Easy to set up and sync. Easy to play.
