Slash your Grocery Bill in Half Challenge for July! Day Four- Cooking forever in 1000 degree weather

This is a challenge where I am cutting my grocery bills in half and saving on takeout- so saving about $2000 per month for a family of six! How it works is: we count down the days of the month (but backwards) so starting at 31 for July and that's how much I have to spend per meal. As we go further into the month we obviously get less and less money! We are not allowed to use any pantry staples like oil, spices etc but we are allowed to use perishable items (we don't want to create any food waste). We are allowed to carry over food and leftover budget from day to day. Today we have $84 dollars and 27 days to go!
