Heavy Waterlogged Hot Tub Cover? Try This Instead of Replacing It

I fixed my wet, waterlogged hot tub cover myself. It was super heavy and hard to get off the Jacuzzi. Turns out it was completely waterlogged. I thought the process of drying out the foam core had to take weeks or months, but I figured out how to do it way faster by drilling holes into the foam and then filling them back up with spray foam a few days later! This sped up the process so much that I was able to put it back together in a few days instead of a few weeks. I also figured out how to get the foam cores back into the vinyl cover way easier than I had seen anywhere else by just using heat to soften the vinyl! I go through the full DIY process of saving your hot tub cover. The best part was that it was cheap! probably around $30 in materials! Plus and optional secondary rain cover for the hot tub.
