Why Are the Best 'Made in USA' Jeans $600?
A rumor of a new brand based in a small town in Montana led us straight to Tilden Yamamoto, a denim artisan making what we argue are the best jeans being made in the USA right now. Tilden Jeans are made-to-order all with single needle stitch and using Cone Mills denim (and a great deal of knowledge) supplied by Roy Slaper, another denim industry legend. Watch a pair of jeans get made from start to finish and learn a whole lot more about the seemingly insignificant details that separate GREAT jeans from solid ones. Special thanks to: Tilden Yamamoto and Tilden Jeans / tildenshop Roy Slaper / roy.stuff Kiya Babzani, Kellen Dengler, and Selfedge for their documentary footage at the Cone Mills White Oak plant Raymie Muzquiz for his animation skills Filmed and Edited by Nikkolas Lopez - / nikklo_films
