Hello again! Our weekend van trips are back, where we share short weekend getaways in a campervan to give you ideas for your own trips. This time we're visiting the Serra de Mariola, starting in Bocairent where we'll spend the first night. This town is well worth exploring and has a lot to offer in its narrow streets. After that, we'll travel a few kilometers to visit the Cova de les Finestres (Cave of the Windows), for which we'll take a short hike. The Cova de les Finestres is a series of caves carved by human hands thousands of years old, dating back to the Bronze Age. Then we'll venture into the mountains to spend the night in a super peaceful recreation area among pine trees, from where we'll begin the next day's hike. We'll visit the Cova de Bolumini (Cave of Bolumini), which was used no less than 5,000 years ago by the ancient inhabitants as a place of worship and burial site for their most illustrious figures. All in one weekend!
