Link to Part 2:    • THE ORIGIN OF VEDA PARAYANAM at Ramanasram...   There are no authentic Ashram records of the origins of Ashram's Veda Pathasala. Both, of the building and the classes. Though there are some references to the veda teachers of the past in the journal , The Mountain Path, they are vague. We are able to get some authentic information in this regard in a video interview given by one Manalurpettai Subrahmanya Sastri. Sri Subrahmanya Sastri had the fortune of seeing Bhagavan Ramana regularly from the age of 5 since1930s onwards. In a sense, he had a close connection with Bhagavan and the Ashram. In this interview, recorded about 2004, he talks about Bhagavan, the Veda Pathasala origins intertwined with his own personal life as a school teacher and later as a full time Vedic Pundit. But all through, Bhagavan is the thread on which all his experiences are strung together.
