Odrina - verano en el territorio del lince

September in the steppes of Peñalajo in central Spain means heat and drought - the blows of the sun force every animal to seek the relief of the few permanent pools in the forest floor. The Hawfinch and the Azure-winged magpie know that they must quench their thirst before the first clouds of sunset veil the sky: as the heat abates, the most silent of all animals begins her patrol. Odrina, the Iberian lynx female that was born in these same hills, moves like a shadow. The only reason the magpies have spotted her is because today, she doesn’t walk alone… Escenas de septiembre en Peñalajo, días de calor y sed en los que el sol golpea la dehesa y las pequeñas charcas son la única fuente de vida para todos los animales del encinar. Los picogordos y los rabilargos saben que el mediodía es el momento más seguro para bajar al agua - porque con las primeras nubes del atardecer comenzará la patrulla de la más silenciosa de las presencias de la estepa.
