What's Wrong With Keto?! (This May Upset Some People)

For years, the keto and carnivore community has helped people lose weight, reverse metabolic disease, improve mental clarity, reduce inflammation, and completely change their lives. But lately… something feels off. Now I’m talking openly about the growing judgment, tribalism, and “carnivore harder” mentality that’s spreading through parts of the low carb world and why I believe it’s hurting people who are genuinely trying to heal. Why are people being shamed for eating keto instead of carnivore? Why do so many people feel like they have to apologize for eating vegetables, berries, or flexible low carb? And when did improving your health stop being enough? My wife Ash is keto, not carnivore, and I constantly see her and others treated like they’re failing simply because they don’t follow the exact version of low carb (specifically strict carnivore) someone else prefers. I think it’s time we have an honest conversation about it. I still believe carnivore can be incredibly powerful. This video is NOT anti-carnivore. It’s about remembering the original mission: helping people get healthier, happier, and more free. In this video we discuss: • Strictness in the low carb culture • The “carnivore harder” mindset • Judgment and gatekeeping in health communities • Food tribalism and diet ego • Sustainable low carb lifestyles • The proper human diet spectrum • Metabolic health and bio-individuality • Why compassion matters more than dietary purity • Supporting people instead of shaming them If someone is losing weight, healing their relationship with food, improving their blood sugar, reducing inflammation, or getting their life back through keto, low carb, carnivore, or animal-based eating… maybe we should celebrate that instead of attacking them for not being “strict enough.” The goal should be better health. Not food religion. 👇 Let me know your thoughts respectfully in the comments: Have you ever felt judged for “not being carnivore enough” or “not keto enough”? Eat your meat, love your life!
