Alles klopte… behalve dit

Everything about this scooter is right. Spark. Compression. Fuel. And yet, it refuses to start. I’ve spent days trying to figure out what’s going wrong here. Every time I thought: “I must have found it now”… but somewhere there was a fault I completely overlooked. In this video, I try to figure out step by step why this scooter won’t run—and how such a simple problem can drive you completely crazy while working on it. I dive deeper into possible causes such as compression loss, valve clearance, timing, and leaking valves. In doing so, I partially disassemble the engine to discover where it is losing compression and why, despite everything, it still won’t start. Sometimes you think it must be something big… while that is exactly what puts you completely on the wrong track. What would you check first if a scooter has spark, compression, and fuel… but still won’t run? Part 2 is now online, in which I rebuild the engine and see if it will eventually run again.
