From the high alpine shores of Leavitt Lake to the wide open valleys of the Eastern Sierra, this overland adventure takes us on a journey through some of California’s most stunning backcountry. After leaving Leavitt Lake, we push down through the rugged Sierra passes, make a stop at Crowley Lake, and continue our drive until we find the perfect spot camping right on the edge of a cliff overlooking the Owens River. Joined by my friend Chris, we set up camp, take in the dramatic views, and enjoy the quiet beauty of the Eastern Sierra. From mountain trails to riverside camping, this trip has it all.
