Chasseur de Brocante is a company specializing in buying and selling secondhand and collectible items. We organize house clearances and the removal of your real estate (sheds, workshops, buildings, farmhouses, houses). Following the first part of this report, where I lived a true antique dealer's dream within the Carmelite convent in Albi, here is the second part. Here you can understand the reality of the antique dealer's profession and, more specifically, the "custom of the troublesome uncles." In short, this recurring custom involves outsiders, using family or friendly ties as a cover, interfering in transactions to steal items or sabotage the sale. Since it is often difficult to illustrate this "custom," we are pleased to share our experience with you in the second part of our report. No bitterness or regrets, for the ways of the Lord are mysterious, and this is all part of the antique dealer's trade. We are fortunate to have had this unforgettable experience.
