Wordt de CX-6e de eerste overtuigende elektrische Mazda?

"We learned a lot from the Mazda 6e and had more time to truly prepare the upcoming CX-6e for Europe." With that message, Mazda unveiled its mid-size electric SUV. Mazda needs to sell electric cars in Europe, but as a small, independent manufacturer, it can't do so on its own. However, it can with the help of its Chinese partner Changan, as demonstrated by the 6e, introduced last year, and the upcoming CX-6e, scheduled for release in June of this year. With a promised price of less than €50,000, the CX-6e is, at least in the most literal sense, an attractive proposition. Like the 6e, it sits on a baseplate developed in collaboration with Chinese partner Changan, the EPA1 platform. The S07 from Changan's sub-brand Deepal, based on the same technology as the CX-6e, also runs. There is also a Chinese version of the 6e, the Mazda EZ-6. Also note that Mazda will be offering more compact EVs with their own chassis starting in 2028.
